Spirit Week culminates with traditional class competition

Posted on Nov 19, 2007

In the four days from November 13 to 16, Spirit Week took over and school spirit abounded! On Tuesday, Twin Day, everyone was looking twice. Disney Character Day and Decade Day, when the students dressed in outfits representing the 1950s to the 1980s, followed with many amazingly creative costumes.

At the traditional pep rally competition on Friday, freshmen dressed in pink, sophomores in yellow, juniors in tie dye and seniors in blue.  Each class gathered together for a friendly competition. All the classes were successful, and the seniors won with their own rendition of Michael Jackson’s “Thriller.”

As a grand finale, the entire school came together for a sing-along featuring “Build Me Up Buttercup.”
